In developing Southeast Asian countries, the pursuit of technology and modernization brings tension and anxiety. People’s gaze attracts information to follow, disrupting order, generating psychological tension, and creating numbness toward technology. Data flows and network infrastructure at the regional level influence economic, cultural, and social structures. Algorithms and big data push reshape markets, cultural consumption, and social interaction, creating an invisible “hijacking effect” that deeply embeds technology and information into everyday life.
We simulate this gaze gravity through programming: text and information elements move in response to audience mouse or touch actions, as if drawn by the gaze, creating flow and disruption. Audiences directly experience the movement and interference of information, reflecting how technology and data influence psychology, behavior, economy, and culture. The visual presentation uses a minimal black-and-white style to highlight the contrast between order and disruption.
